About Animals at Home (Isle of Wight) Ltd.
Hello, from Diane and Alice and we manage together the Isle of Wight Animals at Home Ltd.
We have both lived and worked on the Isle of Wight as Veterinary Nurses for the past 15 years plus, and we both used to run our own small pet care service called Pads and Paws along time ago though!! We have both worked in the Veterinary Industry for all of our working careers from receptionist to veterinary nurse to veterinary nurse tuition and assessing (Diane is a qualified assessor for nurse training) to Veterinary practice management. We worked in a large 24 hour veterinary hospital on the Island and still help them today.
We first met Denis when he began Animals at Home as he approached us to develop a training course for his staff for him, which is still running today and which we help support. We both now work part time as Veterinary nurses, Diane at the Veterinary hospital and Alice for the veterinary telephone support helpline called PHS Direct Ltd.
We are very keen to see the franchise develop and expand and we hope we can also bring our nursing skills to the home to help make pet care at home less stressful. These services we hope to combine with your local vets to ensure your pet always gets the treatment service you need as and when you need it. We know how stressful taking a pet to the vet can be so we will always be there to offer help, advice and our services. Having lots of options for your pets care hopefully means we can find the best care solution for you and your pet at all times.
We have an excellent support group of Host families and pet sitters and pet carers (all CRB checked) across the Island, who are committed to offering first class pet care. This is supported by our Animals Ambulance service. This is a fully equipped pet ambulance, for transport of you and your pet to the vet.
