About Animals at Home (Isle of Wight) Ltd.

Barbara Jeacocke has successfully run the franchise for the Isle of Wight since January 2005, when she took over the first area ever opened by the group.

Barbara was previously employed as a lecturer in the local college on the Island and decided to make a complete like style change to concentrate on her true love, animals. She had spent nearly all her career in the academic world and looked for a new and rewarding change.

She now spends hers days rushed off her feet running the Animal Ambulance and looking after peoples pets in their own homes.

“ I would not go back to my old career for all the tea in China” Barbara said.

She is now looking at putting the second Ambulance on the road.
